A message from the President of IAPTC

Esteemed members, colleagues and partners of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres (IAPTC) - Warm Greetings. It is my great pleasure to extend a hearty welcome to you all. The IAPTC Annual Conference is a momentous occasion for us to come together and share our thoughts, experiences and expertise for global good. This conference offers an opportunity to strengthen our collective efforts towards capacity building of the training community. Since its establishment in 1995, the yearly conference has served as a unique platform for the peacekeeping training centres and partners to stay updated on the evolving nature of conflicts and crisis worldwide. I commend all members and partners for their contribution in sustaining this platform and ensuring its continued vitality. I take this opportunity to convey my commendation to all members of the IAPTC Executive Committee and other members for their support and contribution in organizing the 26th IAPTC Annual conference successfully. I also convey my sincere gratitude to you all for your kind cooperation and guidance, which facilitate me in performing as the President of this association. On the eve of the next Annual Conference, I feel fully contented to handover the ‘Baton’ to a competent hand. I wish Brigadier Joyce C Sitienei and IPSTC, Kenya all the best. I am confident that this year’s Annual Conference will deliver valuable perspectives and stimulating discussions, as we collectively seek to strengthen our peacekeeping efforts. I, on behalf of the IAPTC Executive Committee, assure you all another enriching and professionally rewarding experience at Kenya during the upcoming 27th IAPTC Annual Conference.
